Fosse Primary School offer parents a “Walking Bus” which collects children from locations close to school. Children are then walked to school by school staff. Children arrive at school at 8.00 am and attend breakfast club. We have been running this successfully for over two years.
‘The Walking Bus’ is …
- A free, fun and healthy way for children to get to school safely with staff known to your children who are committed to safeguarding and road safety.
- An opportunity for pupils to have breakfast in school and for parents to save time in the morning.
We worked closely with the Road Safety Team and Educational Welfare Officer to introduce the Walking Bus. Since its inception it has helped lots of children get to school on time every day.
Please come to the office to find out if ‘The Walking Bus’ passes close to your house in the morning.
