Following a request from Leicester City Council to provide more school places in the local area, the school expanded in September 2016. We now have a planned admission number (pan) of 60; that is, we admit 60 children to each academic year group. Previously our PAN was 45 which meant that we had mixed age classes in Key Stage 2. We expanded on the expectation that the school would expand further on a site close to the existing school – despite two years of preparation this was unfortunately cancelled in 2019, leaving the school extremely full and in a building needing some serious attention; we have asked the council for support with this.

We now have two classes per year group; we are full or close to full in all year groups, although numbers do change as parents move house or, sometimes, return to their country of origin.
